Under Armour Live 17U Boys Basketball Predictions - Who wins out?

 It was another good day of predicting the UA Live at Lake Point Championship Center in Cartersville, Georgia but the big question is who's the best team?  I will get to predictions in a bit.

Nebraska Supreme and Illinois Wolves are both undefeated at 6-0 but they play each other next week so someone will have one defeat.  This game should be a great matchup but I am going to flip a coin and pick Nebraska Supreme to win and I think they have a good chance of going 12-0 after this and next week's play.  I may be wrong.  The Illinois Wolves are a first-class team that might be under-rated.

But is Nebraska Supreme the best team?  I am not sure.  I have listed team schedules and opponent ratings below my predictions.

After looking at KC Run GMC, DC Premier, Texas Impact 4:13, Wisconsin Playground, and Team Charlotte's schedules, I think the Supremes and Wolves had a slightly easier bracket than these four teams.  DC Premier beat both KC Run GMC and Team Charlotte but then lost to Wisconsin Playground and Canada Elite.  Texas Impact 4:13 has looked good but faces an uphill task next week.  I think Nebraska goes 12-0 but DC Premier, KC Run GMC and Team Charlotte, who might all be 10-2 when they finish next Sunday, are slightly better, based on comparative ratings. Wisconsin Playground might fit in there too.

And how did I do on predictions yesterday?  Another solid day with 70% correct.  After a middling first day, I have predicted the winner of 67% of 156 games correctly for the weekend for the UA Live and 3SSB tournaments.  All that tells me is that the rating model is working pretty well.

I will have to take another look at the Illinois Wolves rating.  The Wolves were 7-0 and the last undefeated team in this week's action.  Here are my predictions and the actual spreads for todays games.  I hit 74% of Sunday's games correctly and 68% for the weekend.

New ratings will come out Monday or Tuesday and it looks like the Wolves have some howling to do.

 Updated 6/2/2021 I saw the Tweet about Brad Beal 17U and 16U both winning their divisions of the Nike Memorial Day Class and the 15U team coming in as runners-up.  Is there a better program in the Midwest today, than @BradBealElite?  Yep, BradBeal is one of the top five programs in the country. I have updated all The Circuit ratings for teams that have played games.  There are still a few that are listed with no record and I have not found any BallerTV results for them either.  I cannot believe the level of activity this Spring.  So many teams and so many tournaments.  It is like someone let the dogs out, after being cooped up for a full year.  I love the activity. The EYBL is still the top league by far and can throw Brad Beal and about six other teams into a hat, pick out one and have a pretty solid #1 US 17U team.  I feel pretty good about the EYBL ratings but some of the other leagues have top teams with just a few games and I am not sur...
