Midwest Grassroots Boys 15U/2024 Basketball ratings

 You ever start on something and wonder where you are going with it?

Last year, I ranked the 2021 teams, including my grandson's LHBA United 17U team.  I wasn't sure if I even wanted to rank teams for this summer's programs and now I have started out ranking 15U, 16U and 17U teams!  Three times the work and I start to wonder if anyone will even read this.

It takes some real detective work to build a rating for any age group.  Where do you start?  

Right here in St. Louis.  I had rated CNR teams and I will continue to look at them, if they ever post the scores.  I looked at some local Threat Hoops and Reebok tournaments and start to expand out the ratings.  I look for local teams that are playing in regional tournaments, like the Chi-Town Tip-off or the PH and Recruit Look tournaments in Kansas City this past weekend.

Ratings are based upon comparative scores.  The more tournaments I rate, the more teams I will have with ratings.  At some point, I can dive into any tournament and rate ALL the teams.  Early in the year, especially with bracket tournaments, I cannot rate a bracket where I have no teams rated before.

I have to be patient until I find tournaments with teams I have rated to pick up more teams that are unrated.  In the meantime, please be patient with me.  I tackled the 15U first and I will get to the 16 and 17U ratings as time allows.  Or not.  You start something and wonder where it is going?

I am still wondering how much work I want to put in this summer?

Here are my partial ratings for Midwest Grassroots 15U teams.  It is incomplete but if you read this far, you will understand why. 

I have listed the state, and rating (I will add the Grassroots program that they are competing in later).     I left some blanks that I hope to fill in.  If I have your team's state wrong, let me know.  It is a work in progress.
